Arquitecto, investigador interdisciplinar y educador con un PhD en Arte y Arquitectura, un MBA en Innovación en Artes y una Maestría laureada en Arquitectura. Profesor titular y decano fundador de la Facultad de Creación en la Universidad del Rosario, establecida en 2020, donde también conceptualizó y estructuró sus programas académicos con una perspectiva del Sur Global. La facultad ofrece un enfoque educativo innovador e interdisciplinario que integra las artes, los oficios, los saberes artesanales, el diseño, la arquitectura y las industrias culturales y creativas. Desde su fundación, se ha consolidado como un dinámico centro académico con más de 1.000 estudiantes, seis programas académicos, una compañía de teatro musical y una escuela de artes para niños y jóvenes con más de 400 inscritos. Con más de 25 años de experiencia académica y profesional, ha publicado diez libros, co-dirigido una película galardonada y liderado proyectos arquitectónicos, culturales y de diseño participativo. Su investigación conecta la arquitectura, las artes, las humanidades y la educación creativa decolonial. Ha recibido reconocimientos nacionales e internacionales, entre ellos el Premio al Logro Intercultural (Austria, 2024) y premios en las Bienales de Arquitectura Colombiana y Panamericana.

Full Professor and Founding Dean of the Faculty of Creative Studies at Universidad del Rosario, established in 2020, where he also conceptualized and structured its academic programs with a Global South perspective. The faculty offers an innovative and interdisciplinary educational approach that integrates the arts, crafts, artisanal knowledge, design, architecture, and the cultural and creative industries. Since its foundation, it has grown into a dynamic academic center with over 1,000 students, six academic programs, a musical theater company, and an arts school for children and youth with 400+ kids and teens enrolled. With 25+ years of academic and professional experience, he has published ten books, co-directed an award-winning film, and led architectural, cultural, and participatory design projects. His research bridges architecture, the arts, the humanities and decolonial creative education. He has received national and international recognition, including the Intercultural Achievement Award (Austria, 2024) and prizes at the Colombian and Pan-American Architecture Biennials
